Tamara Hicks

 Tami Hicks has been a resident of Ames, IA, since 1974. She graduated from Ames High School in 1992 and began her sales training in 1993 when she worked for the Southwestern Publishing Company.

After graduating from Iowa State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Tami started in on the real estate industry working for Jensen Design Build and Jensen Property Management as an office manager.

Tami received her Real Estate Salesperson license in 1998, and also became a member of the National Association of Realtors. In November of that same year, she was a charter member of the CENTURY 21 Signature Real Estate team. Since then she has been zealously working to help people reach their real estate goals in Central Iowa. She is part of the Buffini and Company network and is proud to be aligned with such a powerful network of people, all working by referral. 

Tami earned her Real Estate Broker license in 2005. Throughout the years she has seen nearly every aspect of a real estate transaction as she progressed from office manager to salesperson, to closing agent and trust account manager, to the Broker of CENTURY 21 Signature Real Estate with 6 offices and over 60 salespeople. From 1099 exchanges and investment properties to residential sales and vacation homes, Tami has the resourcefulness and know-how to handle many situations. 

Tami has systems in place and a team of people to make each transaction as smooth as possible. She is energetic, knowledgeable and passionate about real estate. She specializes in residential real estate and investment properties. She has sold everything from mobile homes and foreclosures to multi-million dollar properties and everything in-between. She has extensive troubleshooting skills and works hard to help each client in the specific way they need help. You will be able to trust her to handle your real estate transaction as if it were her own.
